Happy New Year, folks
I’ve just realised that it was October when I last penned an Author Newsletter. Where does the time go?
OK, let’s catch up.
November was all about pulling Book Baby 5 aka Shattered Hearts together. It was filled with editing, editing and more editing. AGHHHHHHH!
I needed an antidote to all that proofreading and editing! So, on 1st November I started to write Book Baby 6. Writing keeps me calm so although Book Baby 5 hadn’t yet been set free, my soul needed to write. What can I say? Writing is like oxygen to me. I need to do it for the sake of the remains of my sanity. (I’ll come back to Book Baby 6 in a moment)
November was also the month I welcomed a guest author onto my blog. I introduce Harper Maze to you on the eve of her debut novel. Missed the interview? No worries, here it is:

Check Harper’s debut out via Amazon. I think you might like her central character Kayleigh.
6th December saw the arrival of Book Baby 5 aka Shattered Hearts. I got a huge sense of accomplishment with the publication of this one. 2019 wasn’t without its challenges but seeing Shattered Hearts live for sale on Amazon was definitely one of the successes of the year. Missed that too? No worries, I’ll add the book links at the end.
December also saw the re-emergence of everyone’s favourite dark angel as the next instalment of Silently Watching was published to coincide with the full moon. Just in case you missed it, here’s the link:

November and December also saw my alter ego escape a few times….ok quite a few times…

Can I badge these shows as research for future Silver Lake novels? LOL
And that more or less brings us up to date.
So, what’s the creative plan for 2020?
Good question! The plan is short and sweet. I hope to write the final book in the Silver Lake series. Personally, I feel that five books are more than enough for one series. That does not necessarily mean the end for Silver Lake though…..no need to panic! Well…not yet…. 😉
There will be more from the dark angel as the year progresses.
There will be more blog posts.
There will be more short fiction.
And who knows my alter ego may escape out to play a few times too! \m/ LOL
Thanks as always for your ongoing love and support. It truly is appreciated.
Till next time.
Love n hugs
Coral
