As Red As Any Blood – PF Gregory (book review)

Thoroughly enjoyed catching up with Kent and Davieson in P F Gregory’s latest whodunnit. It was a welcome reunion with old friends. Part of me wishes I’d read this a week or two earlier to get the full festive effect. As Red As Any Blood has a gripping seasonal storyline (no spoilers from me) and reads like a Christmas Day game of Cluedo. I fell in love with the grandeur of Chassington Hall and could imagine myself enjoying a glass of champagne in front of a roaring log fire with the family.

If you like your murder mysteries in the style of Agatha Christie, then you’ll love this one. I still think Kent and Davieson’s adventures would make a great TV series and look forward to my next catch up with them both. Great read. Why not treat yourself to a copy, pour a glass of wine and curl up by the fire to enjoy a nice wee murder? You can thank me for the recommendation later.
