Gently the sun warms my back
With a gentle sigh
I raise my face into the breeze.
Eyes closed
Breathing in the sea air.
Waves crash onto the shore
I taste the salt on my lips.
Lost for a moment in memories.
Transported to a distant shore.
To a sandy beach not a rock to be seen.
Summer warmth in my autumn dream.
